What is a Restaurant Manager?

A Restaurant Manager oversees a restaurant and its day-to-day operations. This includes a range of tasks and responsibilities. They are in charge of recruiting staff and training them. They also ensure safety in the environment for both the staff and the customers. They are in charge of monitoring food quality and making sure that all restaurant staff are compliant with relevant laws. In addition, they must be able to provide excellent customer service so that the customers’ needs are promptly met and customers have an outstanding customer experience. Restaurant Managers can also have responsibility for administrative tasks such as payroll, rotas and inventory management.
