What is a General Manager?
A General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the business, ensuring that it runs efficiently, profitably and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse team of employees.
Your responsibilities
- Overseeing all aspects operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage and security
- Recruiting, training and managing a team of employees, including setting performance goals, providing feedback and ensuring that all employees are trained and qualified for their roles
- Developing and managing budgets, monitor financial performance and ensure that all financial reports are accurate and timely
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, including responding to complaints, resolving issues and ensuring that their needs are met
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety regulations, employment laws and licensing requirements
