Senior Service Advisors are expected to have excellent customer service skills – you will be confident in your ability to deal with a wide range of people in a friendly and professional manner and participate and work effectively in a busy environment as a member of the team.
You may have responsibility for overseeing other Service Advisors, you will need to be a confident relationship builder, be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle whilst delivering a first class service, whilst also achieving the company objectives and targets.
You will welcome customers in to the service department and book their vehicles in for repair work, liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress and up-sell on additional products and services where possible. Your role involves keeping customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed, and helping with the supervision of the other Service Advisors by providing an overall support role in the department. Ideally, a Senior Service Advisor would need to have prior or present experience working as a Service Advisor.
