What is a Regional / Area Manager?
As a Regional / Area Manager, you will be responsible for the Nursery Managers across the area; ensuring they are compliant with Ofsted regulations, developing the nurseries, up to date with training & development, providing exceptional levels of childcare and maintaining parent relations.
Within this role you will assist in the management of the sites within the region, including the operational responsibility for facilities. You will provide clear frameworks of multi-disciplinary working and will work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), budgets and ensure optimum use of resources to work towards financial targets. Management of staff, recruitment, development and performance will also fall within your remit.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting settings in achieving high standards of care and education
- Providing ongoing support and managing performance for nursery managers
- Ensuring management are implementing all policies and procedures as required
- Agreeing and reviewing nursery targets and objectives with nursery managers

Leading the nursery in their
self-evaluation and quality assurance processes
- Recruiting and supporting the recruitment of teams
- Understanding and implementing the funding model for the Local Authority
- Liaising with the council regarding the processes and systems that nurseries should implement
- Monitoring the nurseries progress in reaching national priorities
- Ensuring managers are compliant with the nurseries values and aims
What You need

- Previous management experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
