What is a Parts Telesales Representative?
A Parts Telesales Representative is responsible for driving sales of automotive parts via telephone, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new sales opportunities. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, processing orders and achieving sales targets.
Your responsibilities
- Handling inbound calls from customers enquiring about parts, availability, and pricing
- Making outbound sales calls to potential and existing customers to promote products and services
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers on product selection
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to effectively respond to customer needs
- Achieving sales targets and KPI's set by the Parts Manager
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction
- Addressing and resolving customer concerns, complaints, queries in a timely and professional manner
- Updating and maintaining customer databases, ensuring accurate records of interactions
- Collaborating with internal teams such as the warehouse and dispatch to ensure order fulfilment
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with procurement to ensure product availability
