What is a Business Development Manager?
The role of a Business Development Manager centres on growing a dealership by promoting and selling the products and services to the local business community.
This includes gaining new business and maximising profitability and sales opportunities of existing customers.
Your responsibilities
- Identify local businesses with a requirement to purchase new and used vehicles
- Guiding business customers through their purchase, providing outstanding customer service
- Meeting individual sales targets by maximising upsell and cross-sell opportunities on finance and insurance products and optional extras
- Assisting in a steady flow of enquiries from multiple channels through prospecting and marketing
- Maintaining a specialist knowledge of manufacturer vehicles and options, participating in regular knowledge updates
- Managing process compliance during vehicle handovers
