An Aftersales Manager is responsible for managing the workshop, ensuring maximum productivity from technicians, focusing on customer service, achieving upselling targets, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Aftersales Managers generally work within a dealership and these can be independently owned, franchised or national businesses.
Most dealerships will have a wide portfolio of brands they work with and the Aftersales Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with these brands. They would have exceptional customer service skills, knowledge of budgets and figures, along with the ability to maximise productivity and identify new opportunities to improve the operation.
